Leaking Underground Septic Tanks of a Private Building

Trans Area, Port-Harcourt

DESCRIPTION

It was observed that the septic concrete base floor and walls were cast separately having joint created at the base of tank between the floor/walls which is a major source of leakage. Honeycomb formed part of the concrete which are major weakspots for leakage. The entire septic tank floor base is observed to be porous and seeps in water

SOLUTION

This will include hacking off the plaster and screed to reveal concrete surface to be treated. Our Krystol Joint Repair Treatment was applied on the base joint between floor and walls. Following this, our Krystol Pipe Penetration and Weakspot Treatments. The KMA Treatment was used on the length of partition walls inside the tank. To finish off, the Krystol T1/T2 Treatment was applied on all the surfaces. Combined these will render the leakage prone areas watertight.
