BACKGROUND

Concrete Logistics Limited were called in after widespread dampness was discovered in the hotel’s steam room. This was mostly caused by condensation. The existing tile grout in the inspected areas had also worn out and the wall paint was found to be flaking off.

SOLUTION

The existing tiles and plaster in the wall and bench area was removed, and the exposed surface was re-plastered with our Krystol Mortar Admixture (KMA). The remaining damp areas were treated using the Krystol T1 and T2 Surface Application Treatment. The failed grout was also replaced with our Krystol Baricote Grout. All in all making the entire steam room permanently waterproofed.
