DESCRIPTION
The flats had water leakage challenges as well as rising damp issues at the roof slab and other areas. Water seeped through the roof slab, balcony floor and parapet walls causing cracks, with noticeable water marks on the wall even though the surfaces were already lined with bituminous felt.
SOLUTION
The existing failed bituminous felt materials was removed to expose the concrete slab surface, upon which the actual treatments were carried out.
The concrete joints, cracks and weak spots were treated with Krystol Joint/Crack Repair System to render these areas waterproofed. Krystol Mortar Admixture, KMA was applied to the entire exposed area to provide a water repellent effect. These treatments will forever stop leakages and make the roof slab to be permanently waterproofed.
