PROTECTING AND ENHANCING YOUR INVESTMENT IN CONCRETE

BACKGROUND

Concrete Logistics Limited was asked by the client to assess
the general condition of the building and find waterproofing solution to it. Upon visual observation, it was realized that the walls of the bedrooms and corridor were damp and as a result, the paint and plaster on the walls were flaking off. The dampness of the walls is attributed to rising moisture caused by the higher water table nature in the areas.  

SOLUTION

The solution provided by the team include removal of the surface area of the existing failed plasters on the walls will be treated using our Krystol Mortar Admixture (KMA) to be used for the plastering after the treatment has been done. This treatment is guaranteed to last the entire life of the concrete, which means no other forms of waterproofing is required throughout the life of the concrete. This will render these areas water tight.
