DESCRIPTION

Water ingress was significantly observed along the linear joint of the roof terrace, indicating failed waterproofing. Multiple cracks and weak spots were also visible on the terrace surface, which are potential points of water entry during rain. Visible signs of deterioration on the membrane felt ans screed layers are likely contributing to the leakage problems.

SOLUTION

The team's solution started from removal of existing felt membrane, garden and the existing screed. Then surface preparation and treatment was carried out using our specialized Krystol T1/T2 waterproofing systems. The entire joints were fixed using Krystol crack/joint repair systems to keep the areas watertight. Finally, Krystol Mortar Admixture(KMA) was used to re-screed the treated areas and Bauer Aquasil for floor areas
